Therapy for Individuals, Couples, & Families
I believe that psychotherapy offers the opportunity to see yourself—and your way of being in the world—from a new perspective, which opens you to a life of possibility. Making the choice to begin therapy could be the first step toward finding relief so that you can engage in the process of healing and transforming your life.
Why Integrative Psychotherapy?
The term “integrate” can be defined as the process of combing elements so that they become a unified whole. Although integrative methods vary, in my practice this refers to a therapeutic process that is grounded in psychodynamic psychology, which considers how early experiences may contribute to your present circumstances. I incorporate elements of mindfulness practices, trauma-informed somatic psychology, creative methods, dreamwork, and cognitive behavioral skills where appropriate. I value an integrative approach to therapy because I think it honors the unique humanity of each of my clients by placing the focus on treating the whole person; body, mind, and spirit.
